AIMCIS Trust Registry
The AIMCIS Trust Registry is the central ledger for all entity certifications, attestation certificates, and publication provenance records. It provides a public REST API for querying certification status, publishing new declarations, and retrieving attestation certificates.
Registry Components
| Component | Description |
|---|---|
| Entity Store | Persistent storage for entity declarations, certification portfolios, and DNS TXT verification status |
| Attestation Ledger | Append-only log of all attestation certificates issued by registered AAAs with digital signatures |
| Publication Index | Index of publication provenance records linked to entity declarations and provenance chains |
| DNS Resolver | Automated DNS TXT record verification pipeline for publisher identity validation |
API Access
The Registry API provides programmatic access to all registry data. Base URL: https://registry.aimcis.org/api/v1/
- Public endpoints: Query entity portfolios, domain certifications, AAA directory, and published records (no auth required)
- Authenticated endpoints: Create/update entity declarations with Ed25519 signature verification
Data Models
The Registry uses three core data models: Entity Declaration, Attestation Certificate (ATR), and Publication Provenance Record (PPR). All schemas are versioned and published to the Schema Reference page.
